Goal was a steady 10:30 for 8 miles with no walking. Just about accomplished that. It was dark when I left, so I just had to pace myself by feel (couldn’t see my watch). Drop in the middle was a short break to dig out some GU. Overall, a really nice run. This neighborhood has some short steep hills, and the stops at the beginning and end are me crossing busy intersections. Average pace was exactly on target! Did NOT want to get up this morning. Couldn’t fall asleep until about 1:30, and I had to be out the door at 6:30 to make this happen.
