WOD: CrossFit + Running 04.28.2012

WOD: Hillary — 55:11
One of the CF members has been in the hospital and having health issues, so today was a fundraiser and WOD to help her out. So “Hillary” for time!
My modifications were: 300 singles instead of 100 double unders, 15” box instead of 20”, and I used the green+blue band on the pull-ups.
This was a super long workout.

WOD #2: Running 5M @ 54:00
I had planned on 6 miles, but due to the length of the CF WOD and the actual distance between the gym and my house I stopped at 5.
I ran home from the gym, with the intent of adding on one extra mile at the end by going around the block again, but sheesh! I think it’s ok to cut myself some slack today, plus we’re still early in the training game. I’ll go for a 1 mile walk tonight after dinner so I don’t feel guilty.
Can’t believe I did all of this today. I’m really amazed at myself. I doubt I’ll be able to walk up and down the stairs tomorrow.
