WOD: Running 07.14.2012

Can’t seem to catch a break. There was this walk/run thing I did. Run speed was 9:30-10:00, then I’d walk. Mostly because I was not thinking and took my handheld water bottle — it was killing my form and my arm. I set it down where I loop around a couple of times and running was much easier. Now I know to toss that thing.
Also got up too late and the sun was already up. Got tired of all the sweat, so came home and did an additional 2 miles on the treadmill. Goal was 10 miles total today, but after 2 on the treadmill I called it quits because I’d rather swim with piranhas after giving myself 1000 papercuts.
Just really, really tired of sweating. It really looked like somebody dumped 4 gallons of water on me. I wish I could sweat like a normal person. My shorts were so soggy and my shirt was sticking to me and my shoes were sloshing, and I just felt miserable and jiggly all over.
OH! The new Sauconys are AWESOME, though!!! They are easy to run fast in, just like the Pearl’s. Now I need my cardio to catch back up with my legs!
