WOD: CrossFit 07.16.2012

Strength: Front Squat

I’m still going easy on the squats. Stupid hip flexor. It doesn’t hurt near as bad as it did a couple of months ago, but I am still afraid of pushing my luck. 4 sets x 6 reps:

  • 85#
  • 95#

For time:
10 Overhead squats (155 / 105 lbs)
10 Box jump overs (24” / 20” box)
10 Thrusters, (135 / 95 lbs)
10 Power cleans (205 / 125 lbs)
10 Toes to bar
10 Burpee muscle-ups
10 Toes to bar
10 Power cleans (205 / 125 lbs)
10 Thrusters, (135 / 95 lbs)
10 Box jump overs (24” / 20” box)
10 Overhead squats (155 / 105 lbs)

(muscle ups scaled to 2 x’s the pullups)


Just getting started took a lot of brain power to figure out what to set my bar up with. I did:

  • OH Squats at 63#
  • Thrusters at 53#
  • Power Cleans at 83#

Time was 19:40. There was a lot of sweat.
